Airports

RPA has completed many Airport Improvement Projects for general aviation airports. Our skilled engineers understand the need for tight control of scope, costs, construction, and documentation of the projects. RPA believes the success of a project is a team effort. The team includes the engineers, airport owner, contracted consultants, the FAA, FBOs, other tenants and users, the public, and the design team. These team members are involved from the initial planning phases, through the environmental process, land acquisition, design, construction, and project closeout.

RPA has the resources, capabilities, and experience to complete each of these tasks, within the FAA's strict project requirements and regulations. Our airport engineers are proficient in managing airport projects, and routinely prepare all of the FAA-required documents for our clients. These include the Preapplications, Applications, DBE programs, environmental checklists, and FAA requests for reimbursement, audit information, certification letters, and Airport Layout Plan updates.
