Ryan Mitchell, PE, LSI, a native son of Columbia Falls, manages the full-service branch office.
Ryan graduated from Columbia Falls High School in 1993, and went on to graduate with honors from
Flathead Valley Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Land Surveying.
He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering with highest honors from Montana
State University.
Chris Hayes, EI, is a project designer and construction technician. Mr. Hayes
is currently serving as the firm's on-site representative for the Wisdom Treatment
Lagoon project in Wisdom, Montana. Chris holds a bachelor of science degree
in Civil Engineering Technology from Montana State University (MSU) - Northern.
He is currently taking classes towards his graduate degree in Project Engineering
and Management from Montana Tech of the University of Montana in Butte.
Kelly Semenza, Receptionist/Secretary, provides general office support in
addition to other assigned administrative duties. A valuable team member, Kelly has taken
courses in business and marketing at Flathead Valley Community College in Kalispell and at
Montana State University (MSU) in Bozeman. A certified paralegal, Ms. Semenza worked in the
legal field as a paralegal/legal assistant in Colorado prior to moving back to her native Montana.
Jason Smith, P.L.S. has joined the Kalispell office of Robert Peccia and Associates (RPA),
a civil engineering and land surveying firm headquartered in Helena. With nearly ten years of
surveying experience supervising survey crews and draftsmen for large-scale boundary, topographic,
and hydraulic survey projects, Mr. Smith will serve as a land surveyor on area projects.
Since joining RPA, Mr. Smith has begun work on the Kalispell Water Tank and Well project and Plains
Airport. He holds an Associate of Applied Science degree in Land Surveying from Flathead Valley
Community College in Kalispell.
Brandon Theis, EI, is an engineering designer and performed control
network establishment, topographic survey, mapping, and engineering design on Colorado Avenue and Baker Avenues in
Whitefish, Montana. He is currently overseeing construction on these projects in addition
to inspecting the Kalispell City Airport Improvements project. An MSU graduate, Brandon holds
a bachelor of science degree in Civil Engineering.
